Revered street artist Banksy is back in his hometown of Bristol in the UK. And he’s been caught on camera dressed as a workman and preparing to paint.
This news report shows the site of the latest Banksy, which isn’t in situ any longer as the guy from a club located next door has claimed the work as his own.
The guy seems to think he had the right to remove the artwork from its site, even though he doesn’t own the wall it was attached to. He’s now charging people to view it.
How this guy figures he has the right to steal the work and sell it for personal gain is beyond me. But with Banksy remaining anonymous, it’s unlikely he’ll come forward in order to take action.
