The Barefoot Bandit, Colton Harris-Moore, has finally been caught and arrested after two years on the run.
The question now is whether U.S. authorities will be able to build a case with enough evidence against Harris-Moore to actually convict him.
Colton Harris-Moore went on the run from a halfway house in 2008 after being sentenced to three years for three counts of burglary. He’s since managed to escape recapture and allegedly committed many more crimes.
The name of The Barefoot Bandit was given to Harris-Moore as he burgled homes wearing nothing on his feet.
Harris-Moore was caught in the Bahamas after crash-landing a stolen plane there last week. It now looks likely he’ll be extradited to the U.S.
