For many of us, it’s hard to imagine what it would be like if we lost a limb. However, some people think about it to the point of obsession, convinced that their bodies just won’t be right until a limb (or more) are amputated.
I think the doctor at the end of the video gives the best advice: You can’t judge these people without getting to know them and their stories.
I have no idea what it would be like to want to lose a limb. I make my living through my hands (I’m a writer) and I stay fit with my legs. To lose limbs would be a massive blow.
However, I do know what it’s like to have something about myself bother me to no end, and that’s what these people go through.
