Obviously Bert and Ernie are two of the wholly innocent and peaceful Sesame Street character, but what would happen if Martin Scorsese was allowed to direct an episode?
This video is a great mash up between a scene from Sesame Street and the audio from Casino, a Scorsese directed mafia film starring Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro (don’t they all?).
It’s not the best bit of editing in the world, but it does work, and makes it look like Bert and Ernie are the master criminals arguing and swearing at each other.
I love it so much I think they should have let Scorsese actually do an episode for real. Ok it would scare the children and probably scar them for life but hey, what’s television for huh?
