Bill Bailey Impersonates U2 Video

You know, I’ve always thought Irish rockers U2 were overrated. I enjoy some of their songs, but for the most part I think they’re pretentious gits with overblown songs.

Of course most of the modern world would disagree with me, but at least I’ve got comedian Bill Bailey in my corner.

Here he demonstrates how U2’s appeal simply comes from technical wizardry. Don’t believe me? Close your eyes while Bill’s jamming. It’s uncanny how much he sounds like The Edge.

Then Bill shows us what U2 would sound like if there was a technical failure during one of their shows. He’s set this up perfectly, and the result is hilarious.
