This video of The Beatles’ “Let It Be” has to be one of the strangest I’ve ever seen. It’s a little like Band Aid, but without the A grade stars.
Norwegian TV show Gylne Tider has instead gathered up the celebs of pop culture past, with the exception of Glenn Close who apparently just wanted to join in. There’s Malcolm Jamal Warner from The Cosby Show, Berlin who hasn’t had a hit since Top Gun, and even Freddy Kruger himself Robert Englund. And that’s just skimming the surface.
David Faustino is apparently incensed, as he was told the song would benefit charity, but let’s face it. He probably wasn’t doing anything else, and should be glad for the exposure.
Whether it was procured by deceptive means or not, this is a whole lot of fun.
