Those kooky environmentalists at Greenpeace are at it again. Thanks to this commercial, I’ll never be able to listen to the sweet, innocent little ditty “You Are My Sunshine” with a straight face again.
Needless to say, this advertisement isn’t from the United States. But it features a song that most Americans are quite familiar with, only to do something with it that is rather bizarre, to say the least. I, for one, had no idea where it was going in until the end.
You’ve gotta admit, this commercial makes a valid point. And I have a sneaking suspicion that this little clip is going to be stuck in my head for the next few days. I guess they knew what they were doing after all.
