This video proves that animation doesn’t have to be spectacularly rendered or beautifully drawn. So long as there’s a storyline there, animation can come in all forms.
This animated short shows a nun fighting the dark side, quite literally. It’s all in black and white with not a hint of colour. And it’s really interesting to watch.
My favourite part has to be the whole eyeball scene where the nun becomes two solitary eyeballs working independently of each other. And then there’s the ending which sees the nun getting her comeuppance for meddling.
YouTube is brilliant for finding little gems of animation like this. Much rather something like this than a 2-hour big budget snoozefest from Hollywood.
