November has only just begun, and yet retailers in the U.S. are already starting the big holiday sales.

Black Friday 2013 isn’t until Nov. 29, but with the economy still struggling to get back to what it was before the global meltdown a few years ago, retailers are taking no chances.

As this news video shows, as soon as Halloween happened retailers started putting up their Christmas decorations to try and get people in the mood to shop.

Fair enough, the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a week shorter than normal this year, but that doesn’t justify kicking off the holiday season this early.
