Bob Dylan Wins Nobel Prize For Literature Video | The Times They Are A-Changin’

Bob Dylan has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2016. The Swedish Academy said this was for Dylan “having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”.

This is the first time a musician has been awarded the prize. But if any musician is worthy of this award, it surely has to be Bob Dylan.

Love him or loathe him it’s hard to deny Dylan is one talented individual. His songs are works of art, and his lyrics read more like poems than pop songs.

I’m glad Bob Dylan won the Nobel Prize in Literature. I just hope it doesn’t set a precedent which ends with Justin Bieber winning it in 2036.
