Brett Favre has been in the news recently, but no one could anticipate that his sister would also be making headlines for supposedly being caught with two other people in a meth bust.
But is this just another case of the media blowing things out of proportion? The sheriff who made the arrests said, “She happened to be there and she was arrested along with the others.”
Brandi Favre has actually been arrested before back in 1999 for felony shoplifting, however, I find it hard to believe that a 34 year-old woman who has a relationship with a millionaire football star would even resort to making meth for pocket change.
The amount of meth found was only worth about $1000. If you do the math, that’s less than $350 a piece- not a very prosperous operation. This story has “media hype” written all over it.
