You’ve probably seen this on the news in a shortened version, but this is the raw 5-minute long video. In most cases when an accident occurs it’s up to the authorities to lend a helping hand; sometimes tragically too late.
This time, however, a group of brave citizens took it upon themselves to save a mother and her two kids from a burning car.
Thankfully no one died in this accident, but a child is in critical condition with 30% of his body covered in burns. If it weren’t for the effort of the guy who busted the window, the man who pulled the kids out (and burnt his hands), the other man who lent the knife, and the lady with the hose, this could have been tragic.
It’s truly incredible to see how people can ban together to beat the odds in a time of crisis. When the police and firefighters get there, the car is in even worse condition; suggesting that if it weren’t for these neighbors this video would have ended very differently.
