After creating some of the funniest films of the last decade, including The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, Judd Apatow is truly the king of modern comedy. So his latest flick, Bridesmaids, will be certainly worth a look.
Also on the film’s side is Saturday Night Live’s Kristen Wiig serving as writer and star. She’s joined by a stellar cast including Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, and Jon Hamm.
Sure it seems like The Hangover for girls, but rather than sneering at the similarities perhaps we should remember how much we loved that film? I’ll definitely be checking this one out when it hits cinemas in May.
