Captain Phillips is back in the news again, with the Tom Hanks movie now out on DVD and Blu-ray and up for several Oscars.
It must be time to watch a review of the film again. And this one, from the What The Flick?! guys and gals, is one of the best.
I wasn’t a big fan of this film, but most other people appear to have really enjoyed it. I found it dull, overlong, and plodding.
Still, I can see why the Oscar nominations have happened, especially the one which sees Barkhad Abdi nominated as the ‘Best Supporting Actor’. It will be a true fairytale story if he wins.
