You wouldn’t imagine cats and dolphins as being natural friends or allies. Cats, after all, hate water but like eating anything that lives in it. And dolphins could eat a cat whole. And enjoy it.
This video therefore shows a meeting of minds which goes against any assumptions we as humans would make.
This is one helluva brave cat if you ask me. Although dolphins are generally friendly creatures they have been known to attack vociferously. And a cat is such a small creature, comparatively speaking, that it wouldn’t stand a chance.
Kitty loves rubbing itself on its new dolphin friend so much that it reaches out to coax the dolphin nearer. And the dolphin does as it’s told.
It’s strange how some humans can’t get on together whereas different species of animal can. And I never thought I’d see the day when a dolphin and cat became pals.
