I admit it. I’ve got a tragic love of all things from the 1980s. And the more terrible it is, the better I love it. So I was thrilled to discover Electric Six, and their atrocious but catchy song Synthesizer.
There is just so much to love about this video, and most of it involves the keytar.
I love the way the lead singer receives this iconic 80s instrument like it’s a gift from the gods. I couldn’t stop laughing as the near-naked singer and his keytar danced with the bikini-clad girls on the beach. And I never could resist a man with a ruffled shirt.
I can’t ignore his techno either. This is eighties gold.
