It seems that Cheryl Tweedy is a hypocrite and complete sell-out. Maybe her recent bout of malaria affected her judgment and ability to put through the most deserving acts in The X-Factor.
Tweedy missed out on most of the audition process for The X-Factor after contracting malaria. She returned for the judges’ houses stage of the competition, where she had to choose 3 acts from 8.
Her decision – to put through Cher LLoyd, Katie Waissel, and Rebecca Ferguson – was shown at the weekend. And people really weren’t too happy. The problem is that Tweedy seemed to go on past performances rather than what the girls managed in front of her.
As this video shows, Cher Lloyd couldn’t sing due to tonsillitis. And Waissel messed up as well. And still they got through ahead of Gamu and Treyc, who are both much better singers.
Cheryl has clearly picked those she thinks will sell records, but the public aren’t happy and so are unlikely to vote for her acts to win. Oops.
