While the catchphrase for Scrubs is “Half as long as ER, and twice as funny,” Childrens’ Hospital’s could be “A fifth as long as Scrubs and five times as funny.”
But that should some as no surprise considering that it’s written, directed, and starring Rob Corddry from The Daily Show.
Aside from Sorority Forever (their Gossip Girl copycat), The WB’s web series just keep getting better and better. Not long ago, I mentioned Rich Girl Poor Girl was an improvement on MTV’s ‘Exiled,’ and now it seems The WB has churned out an even better version of Scrubs.
Unlike most web series that debut, the episodes aren’t released on a weekly basis. In fact, you can currently watch all 10 episodes online right now. My only complaint is that, since The WB is still in beta, their site is not fully compatible with Firefox.
Childrens’ Hospital: Episode 1
Even though the narrator says, “Last time on Childrens’ Hospital,” I assure you this is the very first webisode. And judging by the first 10 seconds, you might be able to tell that ‘Children’s Hospital’ is ironically not for children.
