If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately, then you might know about the new “real-life superhero movement” going on. Fed up with the police, some people are taking to the streets as vigilantes. While this documentary is rather positive towards any new superheros popping up, I have to disagree that this is a “good” thing.
Some of the footage of real-life superhero’s like Phoenix Jones aren’t really black and white as to who is actually on the “good” or “bad” side.
Sure, a lot of police aren’t doing their job, and I commend the insane bravery that these “heroes” have. People policing themselves is essentially a good idea on paper, but is this really the best way? Take this citizen’s arrest for example:
Here we have Phoenix Jones stopping a drunk man from damaging a car, or so we’re told. But from the footage, I can’t really see the drunk man doing much. Isn’t it possible that he was just trying to find his car and got confused?
