The Encyclopedia Britannica will no longer be printed, with the company switching over entirely to the digital age. And about time too.

There was a time when to learn any piece of new general knowledge you would have to ask someone wise, visit your local library, or consult your Encyclopedia Britannica collection. And then along came the Internet.

Now, not only can most of us look for information about any subject under the sun while at home on a computer, some of us can also do it on the move thanks to a smartphone. How times have changed.

This ad shows just how much things have changed. Note that the snotty kid in the commercial walks away from his computer to consult books. What an alien concept that now is.
