Instagram is a phenomenon at this point in time, with more and more people using the photo-sharing service (and its range of funky filters) to record their lives.
Instagramimation is animation built around Instagram. In this case, one subject gets treated rather badly by the person flicking through the photos.
I hate to think how much work went into this video, as all of the different backgrounds and costumes will have had to be photographed ahead of time.
The result is a frankly genius piece of animation which plays with our ideas of the permanent nature of photos. It’s timely too, with Instagram Video recently being launched.
