As you can see, the rescue efforts at L’Aquila, Italy and surrounding affected areas are still going at full throttle while aftershocks and the weather continue to seemingly ‘cooperate’ with rescuers.
Aftershocks are still a problem, but for the most part, workers have been able to continue with their efforts. People from as far away as Rome and Naples have felt the shocks.
I sincerely hope that the world shows Italy the care and support that Australia received earlier this year with the Victoria tragedy. We have more than proven that we can support each other during these disasters, so let’s do it again.
