During the Sunday service at the First Baptist Church in Marysville, Illinois, a gunman has opened fire. The senior pastor, Fred Winters, has been killed and four people have been injured, including the gunman.
According to the YouTube video description, “The state police said the man briefly exchanged words with Fred Winters, the pastor at First Baptist Church in Maryville, near St. Louis, before pulling out a .45-caliber handgun and fatally shooting Mr. Winters in the chest…”
At this point, there isn’t much else known, as is reflected in the video.
I’m sure police are eager to figure out why this happened.
