CNN Obama Express Train Video | President Elect Coming Through Edgewood, Maryland

23 sec read

With a nod to inaugurations of the past, President Elect Barack Obama is riding the ‘Inauguration Express’ train to Washington D.C.

As nice as that gesture is, wouldn’t you hate to be the security coordinator for that ride, given he stands on the back platform when going through cities?

This isn’t Obama’s first ride on the Georgia 300, which is reported to have been made in 1930 but has since been updated while maintaining the class of the 1930s.

Presidents as recent as Bill Clinton have ridden on the train, but Obama is certainly making a statement by making it his inauguration transportation.

Yes, that was fun to type.
