In 1985, Coca-Cola famously launched New Coke. This was a new formula for the product, and Coca-Cola hoped consumers would fall for its charm.
However, New Coke failed spectacularly, with consumers rejecting its sweeter, more syrupy taste. And after just a few months, Coca-Cola withdrew New Coke from sale.

New Coke will return temporarily as a marketing ploy, giving all of us that were too young to taste it back in 1985 the chance to see what all the fuss is about.
