‘The College Humor Show’ TV Promo Video | MTV Picks Up Web Show

Now that Jackass and all it’s related spin-offs are out of the picture, MTV viewers have experienced an absence of comedic shows.

But that’s all about to change now that the guys behind CollegeHumor.com are collaborating with MTV to create “The College Humor Show.”

At first, the move seems a bit backwards. After all, isn’t the future of programming on the web? Sure, the CollegeHumor gang already has a well paid staff and a dedicated fan base, but MTV could extend that potential even further.

Since CHTV is already known for their web shorts, the basis of the show will revolve around the daily lives of the site’s staff and have cuts to shorts. One can only guess that the result will be a mix of ‘Family Guy’ and ‘The Office.’

Move over reality shows.
