If you have a cat then you will have surely seen them jump straight up in the air at least once. They do it instinctively as a fight or flight response to a supposed danger.

Wait until your cat is nice and relaxed, or on the prowl as this one is. And then just make a sudden movement in its direction. Your foot twitching may be enough to set it off.
Just don’t do it to old or ill cats. They’ll probably just sit there ignoring you anyway. If not, then they could have a coronary instead.
