Construction Worker Sings Sinatra Video | New York Subway Employee’s Lunch Break Serenade

23 sec read

Most construction workers spend their lunch breaks wolf whistling at women and scarfing down junk food. But not Gary Russo, who instead takes time out to sing the standards at an old-fashioned microphone.

Gary takes us back to a simpler time as he encourages us to forget about the noise surrounding his construction site stage and focus on his golden voice delivering those classic tunes. In this video we see him crooning through “Summer Wind,” but he’s also partial to a Bobby Darin tune.

Sadly Gary only performs for the 30 minutes allotted for lunch. Surely his boss should be a little more flexible when he’s bringing such joy to the masses!
