Cool 3D Street Art Video | Artists Create ‘The Crevasse’ For Festival Of World Culture

Art comes in many different and diverse shapes and forms. From the traditional paint on canvas, to sculptures and even architecture. Street art is one of the most innovative and exciting fields of art, as this video ably demonstrates.

This painting took place on a pier in the Irish coastal town of Dun Laoghaire last year to celebrate the ‘Festival of World Culture’. The painting is called The Crevasse and shows a great rift in the icy and treacherous ground.

Except of course that the ground isn’t icy and there is no rift for miles. This artist and his assistants have created a living, interactive work of art that plays on the idea of perspective and messes with your mind.

I’ve seen 3D street art before but never quite on this scale. It’s important to remember that it’s only impressive to see from a certain angle. Those walking around it aren’t getting the visual feast those of us behind the camera are.
