Animal tricks are always fun to watch. Dogs are the usual participants, rolling over, playing dead, and fetching to make their owners happy. But I doubt you could train a dog to throw darts like the elephant in this video.
Sure, the elephant has a major advantage in being able to grip the darts with his trunk. But he has to have some major skills to hit the balloons perfectly every time. He’s even so kind as to help his opponent by popping one of his balloons when he’s doing poorly.
So the next time you’re in a bar and some guy bets you that he knows an elephant who can beat you at darts, don’t be too quick to lay your money down.
