For a political discussion, it’s quite tame and looks at both sides of the issue – whether we should have any business looking into someone’s religious background.
It’s worth looking at in Palin’s case and any other politician’s case, though, because when you’re talking about a political person, religion can influence policies.
You don’t just have someone’s religion when you’re in politics. Religion can influence policies in so many other areas.
I think one of the religion into politics issues is summed up best with this quote: “I can pretty much assure you that not praying enough doesn’t cause [homosexuality].”
