This is the first trailer for Cowboys and Aliens, a film that could be the best thing known to man, or an absolute crock of shit. I cannot make my mind up from the trailer alone.
Cowboys and Aliens stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde. It was written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, and directed by Jon Favreau. And Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard are producing. That’s quite a line-up.
However, no matter how many good people are involved, that doesn’t necessarily guarantee a movie will turn out well. And I’m very torn on Cowboys and Aliens.
Maybe it’s the title that is putting me off, as it reminds me too much of Snakes On a Plane. I’ve heard of not burying the lead but that is ridiculous. Still, it’s out in a few months time so we don’t have too long to wait to find out how amazingly good or shockingly bad Cowboys and Aliens is.
