An ad like this that makes light of suicide would probably not be aired in the United States for obvious reasons.
The double-entendre “It really sucks” works for both the grim aspect of the situation and the product in this case. Electrolux is actually a Swedish company that re-invented it’s slogan recently.
I guess “Nothing sucks like an Electrolux” wasn’t the smartest slogan to have.
