Bill Nye (the Science Guy) recently appeared on The Today Show to provide a little scientific knowledge in honor of Earth Day.
Unfortunately, he was paired with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, and the result is possibly the most cringeworthy five minutes of television I have ever seen.
Kathie Lee clearly isn’t a fan of Bill Nye, and interrupts him at any and every opportunity. She seems to think it’s endearing, but it just comes across as rude and obnoxious.
More than that though, the whole segment is horrible. From the OTT interactions to the cheesy animations, it looks like television from the 1980s. It’s 2017, guys.
