Here’s a café that’s serving up much more than coffee and cake. In Japan you can enjoy your favorite brew with a side order of bunny snuggles!
The Bunny Café is a backlash against rental properties banning pets. While the Japanese may not be able to have a rabbit of their very own, they can come to the café and cuddle the cuties to their heart’s content. Or at least until their cash runs out!
It’s a cute idea, but I can’t help cringing at the rabbit-shaped food the café serves. It seems a monstrous to me to nibble treats shaped like the very animals you’re petting!
