This video shows a cat eyeing up a light fitting. Will he jump or won’t he jump? That is the question.
Assuming you have watched the video from beginning to end by now, you’ll know the answer. He jumps. A long way. Like some feline stuntman willing to risk life and limb for a YouTube hit.
What I find fascinating about this video is the decision-making process the cat goes through in his mind before leaping. He starts off being nosy, wants to jump but doesn’t and then ends up thinking, “What have I got to lose?”
I’m guessing the cat has either jumped up on the light fitting before, or at the very least eyed it up. Why else would its owners have a video camera set up to capture the moment for ever?
