After spending many a car trip belting out the songs from Rent, I’m convinced that any drive is better with show tunes. If you needed further persuading, this adorable Californian family and their take on Dreamgirls will likely push you over the edge.
Here we see them at the climactic argument scene, just before Effie White launches into “I’m Telling You.” That torch songs gets most of the attention in this musical, but this number gets its dues with this family rendition.
I must admit, I watched this video nervously, half expecting a collision as they reached their crescendo. Perhaps being able to sing and operate a motor vehicle is the real talent here!
