Sometimes videos go viral and you just can’t work out why. Marcel the Shell with Shoes is one of those videos.
Yes, Marcel’s kind of cute with his one eye and bright pink tennis shoes. It was bittersweet to watch him walking his lint puppy dog on its hair lead. And I even gasped when we heard of his family’s violent tendencies.
But Marcel and his baby voice are also pretty annoying. You know, the way that small children can be annoying with their questions and “look at me” attitude.
It’s not very politically correct to admit it of course, but just like a toddler, you sort of wish Marcel would shut up!
