Yun Zi the panda, one of San Diego Zoo’s most beloved residents, kicked up his heels recently to celebrate turning two. And what’s a birthday without cake?
Yun Zi’s keepers spoiled him with a custom made ice cake. Frankly it looks delicious, although I’m not sure those bamboo leaf bows and the yam and carrot filled bowl portion are really to my tastes.
But it’s not my birthday; it’s Yun Zi’s. And he seems pretty pleased with the whole affair, doesn’t he? The black and white bear completely owns this cake, smashing it into submission before devouring its icy goodness.
