Here’s a healthy dose of cute to close out your weekend. The idea of monkeys Jell-O wrestling could be a bit weird for those with their minds in the gutter, but it’s actually very sweet.
OK, so maybe they’re not Jell-O wrestling as much as wrestling with Jell-O, but you get the idea. These squirrel monkeys were given blueberry studded Jell-O by their Bronx Zookeepers to encourage their natural foraging instincts.
There aren’t a lot of natural opportunities to forage at the zoo, so this fun and adorable activity makes perfect sense. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to listen to my natural instincts and say “Awwww.”
