This video shows Jeremy Jahns reviewing Dark Shadows, a new movie directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. Oh, and Helena Bonham-Carter also makes an appearance, surprisingly enough.
I must admit I have no interest in seeing Dark Shadows. It’s one of the Tim Burton movies to have left me cold right from the outset. Seeing the trailer was enough, I really don’t need to see the whole film.
Jahns isn’t the only one to hold this opinion of the movie either. I have seen other reviewers saying similar things: that Dark Shadows is enjoyable in parts but far from a must-see, that there are good scenes, bad scenes, and downright stupid scenes.
One for all but huge Depp fans to avoid at all costs then.
