We all know to turn out cell phone off before we see a film. Of course that doesn’t stop at least one jerk from leaving theirs on every time I head to the cinema. Perhaps if Darth Vader stepped in to discipline repeat offenders they’d think twice!

In 2007 the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences screened Star Wars as part of their “Great to Be Nominated” series. Before the cult classic started, this special clip warned the audience to switch those phones off.

I can’t imagine taking a personal call while meeting with Darth Vader, but I can’t imagine gabbing on my cell at the cinema either. Did this cell phone freak deserve Vader’s mercy? You decide!
