Having been an (on and off) fan of Lil Wayne for years, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that this release would be organized just like the last Dedications- released by DJ Drama. I haven’t had a chance to listen to it but has gotten over 200,000 downloads and 1.7 million views in the past 24 hours.
If you’ve never heard a Lil Wayne mixtape before, basically all you need to know is that he takes a bunch of other popular rap beats and raps over them- sometimes the “freestyles” are actually better than the original songs that the beats were intended for.
