Leonardo DiCaprio says “goodbye” to another supermodel, separating from Nina Agdal after dating for over a year. People broke the news of the couple’s split, with the magazine’s source stating “they broke up a couple of days ago.”
The split is reportedly amicable, with the two planning to remain friends.
DiCaprio was recently seen out on the town in Los Angeles with Tobey Maguire. DiCaprio was seen dancing with Ella Ross, a model. The reason for the breakup has not been revealed.
DiCaprio and Agdal were seen as recently as last month in New York together. The two seemed to always be on-the-go during their relationship, visiting Over Yonder Cay and Montauk, New York. The two were also seen partying in Ibiza and Malibu, often on yachts.
The couple’s relationship started to intensify in October, with a source close to the matter stating that the relationship was “a breath of fresh air” for Leo.
Agdal, a very active member of social media, has remained quiet about the split and didn’t give any signs that the star couple was having problems. The last time the couple was seen in public together was May 9 in West Hollywood.
Photographs from the outing show that the couple was dressed down and didn’t display the same passion that they did in the past. Leo was less attentive to his girlfriend’s needs, often staring at his phone and seeming distant.
The duo were never seen on the red carpet together, despite their relationship being public. Leo is known to keep his private life low-key. Leo has had relationships with some of the top models in the world, including his longest public relationship with Gisele Bundchen. He has also dated Erin Heatherton and Bar Refaeli, to name a few. DiCaprio dated Bundchen for five years.
He was also tied to actress Blake Lively.
