An 8-year-old boy from Arizona is being charged with pre-meditated murder of his father, Vincent Romero, and his friend, Timothy Romains.
This video shows part of the police interview conducted with the boy after the victims were found, and Campbell Brown and Lisa Bloom talking about the rights and wrongs of the case on CNN.
I personally find it hard to imagine an 8-year-old pre-meditating anything, especially the double murder of his dad and friend, even if there was some cause for him to be unhappy.
I also think the police conducted the interview unfairly, and lead the kid in to confessing to something he knows he didn’t do. Surely this case won’t ever come to court.
