We’re now all set for a Manchester United Vs. Barcelona Champions League Final after Man U beat Arsenal and Barca beat Chelsea in the two semi-finals. However, the Chelsea match had a rather controversial sting in its tail.
Chelsea looked to be going to the final after scoring in the ninth minute of the match at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. However, a 93rd-minute goal by Barcelona gave the Spanish club victory on the away goals rule.
During the match, the referee had turned down four penalty appeals by Chelsea, a couple of which seemed definitely justified. Which meant the players weren’t exactly happy come the final whistle, and some of them crowded round and verbally abused Tom Henning Ovrebo.
It was at this moment that Sky Sports cameras caught Didier Drogba expressing his views on the game and the terrible refereeing decisions. I don’t think there’s any doubt about what he thinks of it all.
