Portugese digital advertising company Excentric has put together this clever advertisement which predicts what the birth of Jesus may have been like if it happened today.
Mary e-mails Joseph to share the happy news, while Joseph makes sure his Facebook friends are abreast of the situation. Those friends include the three wise men, who get their “meet the baby” invites via the social networking platform. Then it’s off to Amazon to find the perfect gift, before uploading a YouTube video of the happy gathering.
At its heart this is an advertisement attempting to sell a service, but it’s done so well that I don’t really mind.
