Yesterday the movie Camp Rock 2 aired on cable and drew in 8 million viewers- making it the 7th most-watched Disney Channel Original of all-time.

When it comes to exploiting young audiences, Disney reigns king. Camp Rock, for those of you that don’t know, is a giant money-maker for Disney due to the fact that it is timed with an album release and tour attached to it. In a sense, this movie is a giant commercial for socially awkward pre-teens.
If you can’t get enough of stereotypical characters, cute teens that can’t act, and over-produced music then be sure to catch the re-runs all this week.
