Talk about having some balls. Can you imagine someone talking to the U.S. President and Vice President like this? He’d likely be taken out and shot, or sent to Guantanamo for a spell.
David Cameron and Nick Clegg, supposedly the two most powerful men in the U.K., were visiting a hospital for one of those cheesy photo-shoots purely designed to score them brownie points.
That is until a senior surgeon interrupts and asks why the camera crew and journalists get to do what they want in his hospital. In the end he shouts, “I’m not having it… Out!”
Well done that doctor. You were completely correct in calling out Cameron and Clegg for this charade of a photoshoot and the way those working in the hospital are expected to kowtow to their leaders.
I wish more of us would stand up to these politicians. Especially considering what they’re doing to the NHS.
