Doomsday Music Video | Rebecca Black ‘Friday’ Spoof Mocks Failed End Of The World

31 sec read

This is the last video I’ll post about the end of the world which didn’t actually materialize on May 21, I promise. But watch this and I’m sure you’ll agree it was too good to ignore.

The story so far: Harold Camping, a Christian Family Radio preacher, predicted the world would end this year, with the first sign being the Rapture happening on May 21. That was last Saturday, and nothing happened.

This video from Rooster Teeth mocks Friday by Rebecca Black. “Friday” is replaced by “Doomsday”, and the rest of the lyrics are amazingly well done. the Rapture even gets a mention!

The video ends with, well, the end of the world. Which means this is a complete work of fiction as this apocalyptic event meant the change the lives of everyone didn’t actually happen. As you no doubt already knew, and likely knew even before May 21 came and went.
